Hey, look, I know things are a mess. I took a hiatus from blogging and decided to switch up my design before returning. Please be patient, because if you can wait out the mess it means REGULAR POSTING WILL RETURN SOON! :D

Take lots of pictures and cherish the moments. They grow up fast and pretty soon they'll tell you to stop dancing because you're old and you can't dance. My 12 year old tells me that all the time. I'm like whatever and I keep dancing.

there should be a way to make the first year go much much slower!

That's so funny Holly, I feel the exact same way. Funny how at 6/7 months they just completely morph into these little independent beings. It's so thrilling to watch, but at the very same time so so sad seeing your little bundle sprout a will of her own...

Oh yeah. Just wait until your "baby" moves from the baby and toddler clothing section to the little kids' sizes. Or when she carries on a conversation with you, complete with logical progression, and you're like, "When did this happen?"

It DOES happen ... and waaaaay too quickly.

They do grow so fast! My "baby" just turned 9. I can't believe how quickly the time went by. (Maybe it was because I was so sleep deprived!)

Totally charmed by your blog! I love creative people. Your baby -- just perfect! I know what you mean, my three brand new babies are now in 5th grade, 3rd grade and 3 year old preschool -- man, it has to slow down . . . ;) Again, love your blog! Stopping by from SITS.
