WFMW - Coffee Lover's Edition
I have loved Starbucks frappuccino since I was a teen. It's just really, really yummy. It's also really, really bad for you (lots and lots of sugar).
Well, I've found an alternative that works for me! It's got NO added sugar (NONE!) but it still tastes sweet. It's got protein, vitamins and minerals, calcium, almost 50% less caffeine than regular coffee, and no preservatives (click the picture for nutritional details). It's the "Perfectly Protein Mocha Cappuccino" drink made by Bolthouse Farms. We sold Bolthouse products at the health food store I used to work at in Utah (their "Green Goodness" juice is pretty awesome). But now you can even find their products at Wal-Mart (which is where I picked up my bottle of cappuccino drink). The flavor isn't quite as good as a Starbucks frappuccino (almost, but not quite). However, like I said, it's less expensive and it's WAY better for you.

4 Stubborn Stains:
Lol - I don't like Starbucks fraps at all - too bitter :p But I LOVE Bolthouse farms drinks. I am partial to the vanilla chai tasting one. They are SUPER expensive where I live though :(
PS - LOVED the name of your blog. As another 20-something SAHM I thought it was quite clever.
Thanks! :)
I've never tried chai but I'd like to. Seems pretty popular lately.
You can also buy different varieties of the Bolthouse drinks at Sobeys in the Produce department. . . some Safeways as well.
This seems like a great tip (speaking as one who is, ahem, quite hooked on the frappuccinos you speak of ;) )

You know the signs in the zoo that say "do not feed the animals"? Yeah, well...consider this a sign saying "PLEASE feed the author's ego!" I love comments, LOTS and LOTS of comments! ;)
