Shepherds Quake At The Sight
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (and I'm talking about the book here, not the movie) includes an account of Dorothy and the gang's brief visit to a land of porcelain. That's right, all the buildings, animals, people, even the ground, are made of delicate china. The visit from the comparatively gigantic and very dangerous Dorothy and her traveling companions upsets quite a few of the china people (after all, it doesn't take much to break off a limb when you're made of delicate ceramic). Who the porcelain people really need to fear is our cat Lily. See what I mean?
